Coaches
U8/U12 - Cam Thompson (Head Coach)
Cam grew up in Baltimore where he attended National high school lacrosse power McDonogh School. At McDonogh, Cam was captain of the soccer and lacrosse teams and a member of McDonogh’s 1999 MIAA Lacrosse Championship Team. He attended and played lacrosse at division I Hobart College and played on Hobart’s 2002 Patriot League Championship team. Cam is the head varsity high school boys lacrosse coach at Shady Side Academy. Cam's boys, Boden and Finn, play on the 8U and 12U PYLAX teams.
U8/U12 - Andrew Dickson (Head Coach)
Andrew played for Shady Side Academy where he served as captain in 1999. He earned first-team all WPSLA, first team all MSLA, and was named all American his senior year. In college, Andrew played for perennially nationally ranked division III, Ohio Wesleyan University. There he served as captain and earned first-team all North Coast Athletic Conference honors. His boys Teddy and George play on the 8U and 12U teams.

U10/U14 - Rob Jamison
Rob is a graduate of New England lacrosse prep power Avon Old Farms and was a three-year, three-sport varsity athlete of the lacrosse, soccer (captain), and basketball teams. Rob attended the University of Vermont where he was a four-year standout midfielder on two nationally-ranked Division I lacrosse teams. Rob is the current President of PYLAX and his son, Briggs, is a goalie on the 14U team.
U14 - Conor Ryan
A St. Vincent College graduate, Conor joins PYLAX this season as our 14U B Head Coach. Conor played at St. Vincent College as a long pole helping anchor the defense for three years. The PYLAX alumn, class of 2004, was a stand-out defenseman at Fox Chapel High School where he was a four-year letter winner.
U14 - Spencer Rice
Spencer is a Pittsburgh native and attended Phillips Academy in Andover, MA. At Andover, Spencer was a standout goalie and earned All-American honors his senior year. Spencer will spend most of his time as an assistant coach for 14U as well as work with goalies throughout all age groups.
