Player Development

PDF | print |

There are many opportunities for players to develop their lacrosse skills on their own.  The easiest is to play "Wall Ball".  Your child can find an illustration of Wall Ball at www.kudda.com.  Search for Lacrosse and Wall Ball.  Good players always have their stick in their hand and they constantly play "pick-games" with friends and or try new stick tricks.  Watching college and professional games on cable television also helps.  Some high school players also provide one-one coaching.

One of the best ways to improve as a lacrosse player is to increase your speed and agility.  UPMC Sports Performance Training excels at this.  Click on the link below for more information.
