Pittsburgh Youth Lacrosse (PYLAX)
PYLAX has been developing young lacrosse players for over twenty-five years. The program has provided the foundation for boys and girls to succeed at the recreational, select travel, high school, and collegiate levels. Our program is open to both new and returning K - 8th-grade boys and girls in the Pittsburgh area.

BOYS & Girls coaching opportunities
- Seeking Boys and Girls coaches for 14U, 12U, 10U, and 8U age groups for the Spring 2023 season. A unique opportunity to work with some of Western PA's top rising players. All positions paid. Please email

- Beginning in 2022, all players must wear SEI Certified shoulder pads and chest protectors that reduce the risk for Commotio Cordis that meet NOCSAE ND200 standards.

All players are required to become US Lacrosse members at this time. You can register directly on the US Lacrosse website here. Doing so will provide you with a US Lacrosse number that can be used for PYLAX Fall and Spring 2022/23 Season registrations. Your US Lacrosse number will be valid through the Fall 2023 season.

Age classifications as determined by the Western PA Youth Lacrosse and US Lacrosse governing bodies. Please register appropriately.
- 14U - Graduation Yrs 2027 & 2028 - Grades 7 & 8
- 12U - Graduation Yrs 2029 & 2030 - Grades 5 & 6
- 10U - Graduation Yrs 2031 & 2032 - Grades 3 & 4
- 8U - Graduation Yrs 2033 & 2034 - Grades K to 2
GIRLS:
